Dwayne Smith is an experienced locomotive engineer and test controller with a comprehensive background in rail operations and safety. Currently serving at Transportation Technology Center, Inc. since December 2012, Dwayne facilitates the safe movement of rail cars and coordinates testing for the Crash/Blast Program for various agencies. Previous roles include locomotive engineer at US Rail, where Dwayne oversaw the safe movement of coal cars, and conductor/engineer at CSXT, responsible for accurate railroad switches and inspections. Dwayne's early career includes serving in the US Navy as a Plane Captain and Aviation Administrator, focusing on the safe movement of aircraft. Dwayne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from DeVry University and two Associate degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Big Sandy Community and Technical College.
