Jean Labuschagne

Jean Labuschagne has a diverse work experience starting as an Intern/Youth Worker at Eastside Community Church in 2008. They then worked as a Student at De La Rue and Marenco Engineering Technologies Africa in 2011. Moving forward, Jean progressed to roles as Design Engineer at LMT, Mechanical Engineer(HVAC) at RPP, and Design Engineer at ADG Mobility, where they eventually became a Senior Design Engineer. Jean then took on leadership roles at Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA, first as Design Team Lead and later as Head of Vehicle. Currently, Jean holds the position of Lead Space Mechanical Engineer at Mynaric, showcasing a strong background in engineering and leadership.

Jean Labuschagne attended Willowridge High School from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2009 to 2012, Jean pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Pretoria. In 2015, Jean also obtained the Duolingo Proficiency Exam in English: Expert certification.
