Genevieve Gould

Genevieve Gould is a seasoned professional in the field of molecular and computational biology, currently serving as Senior Director of Early R&D at Myriad Genetics, with a career spanning from January 2019 to the present. Previous roles at Myriad Genetics include Director and Senior Manager in Computational Biology. Prior to this, Genevieve held positions at Counsyl as Senior Computational Biologist and Computational Biologist from October 2015 to December 2018. Genevieve's academic background includes a PhD in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where research focused on splicing regulation under Dr. Christopher Burge, along with teaching assistant roles in introductory biology and human disease courses. Genevieve completed a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, and began a research career as an undergraduate researcher and summer intern, contributing to projects involving gene expression and disease resistance.
