Joe Romero

Joe Romero, LEED AP, serves as Vice President - Real Estate & Facilities at Myriad Genetics since April 2018, overseeing the global real estate portfolio, design, planning, construction, and facility maintenance for multiple life science campuses in the U.S., Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, while contributing to the Myriad Executive Operations Leadership Team. As President of The R3 Group, LLC, Joe provides expert witness services in architecture, developer, and construction litigation, with experience in both federal and state courts. Joe's prior roles include Project Director at Big-D Construction, where over 40 commercial projects totaling over $500M were managed, and Manager of Design and Construction at the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. Joe began their career in architecture as a Project Manager at VCBO Architecture and has a background as a Sergeant of Marines in the U.S. Marine Corps. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and an Associate of Arts from Palomar College.
