John Huston

John Huston is an experienced outdoor professional with a diverse background in wilderness expeditions, safety coordination, and brand representation. Currently serving as a Brand Ambassador for Backpacker's Pantry and Mystery Ranch since 2017, Huston also owns and operates Forward Endeavors LLC, focusing on inspiring others through ambitious outdoor challenges. As Wilderness Safety Coordinator and Program Advisor for Northwestern University's Outdoor Orientation Program, Huston ensures the safety and quality of backpacking trips for incoming students. Previously, significant roles included Athlete for Bergans of Norway, Polar Explorer with Forward Expeditions, and Polar Guide for multiple scientific research initiatives. Huston holds a BA in Anthropology, History, and Geography from Northwestern University.
