MyVest
Kevin Win has a diverse work experience in software engineering and IT consulting. Kevin started their career as an IT Consultant at IT Service Center from December 2012 to May 2014. In July 2014, they worked as a Developer Intern at Platform45. Later that year, from September 2014 to May 2015, Kevin worked as a Developer at DALI lab.
In August 2016, Kevin joined MyVest as a Software Engineer I and held this role until March 2018. Kevin then got promoted to Software Engineer II and worked in this position from April 2018 to June 2019. From July 2019, Kevin has been serving as a Senior Software Engineer at MyVest. During their time at MyVest, they worked on building a wealth management platform with over $40 billion in assets under management. Kevin undertook various responsibilities such as migrating an old JSP/Flex front-end to Angular components, implementing web workers for efficient csv export, and replacing Socket technology.
Kevin Win attended Dartmouth College from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Neuroscience. During their time at Dartmouth, they also participated in an exchange term at Beijing Normal University in 2012 and 2013, studying Chinese Language and Literature.
In addition to their formal education, Kevin Win has obtained several certifications. In February 2018, they completed the IBM Blockchain Essentials and IBM Blockchain Foundation Developer certifications offered by IBM. Kevin also completed various courses related to computer science and finance through Coursera. In July 2017, they obtained certifications in Advanced Data Structures in Java, Data Structures and Performance, Object Oriented Programming in Java, Divide and Conquer, Sorting and Searching, and Randomized Algorithms, Graph Search, Shortest Paths, and Data Structures, Greedy Algorithms, Minimum Spanning Trees, and Dynamic Programming, Meeting Investors' Goals, Portfolio and Risk Management, Securing Investment Returns in the Long Run, and Understanding Financial Markets.
