Kofi Annan

Kofi Annan currently serves as President of the NAACP, a position held since December 2016, where responsibilities include generating and implementing strategic vision for political, educational, social, and economic equality while conducting outreach within the African American community and other communities of color. Additionally, Kofi Annan works as an Analyst for the US Department of Defense since June 2007 and previously founded and served as CEO and Recruiter for Veteran Career Counseling Services, providing staffing solutions for companies seeking to hire veterans from June 2012 to January 2019. Earlier experience includes roles as a HUMINT Subject Matter Expert at L-3 Communications and as an Analyst in the US Army. Kofi Annan holds a Master of Science in International Relations and National Security Studies from Troy University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Tennessee State University.
