Min. Wendell J. Harris, Sr. has more than 35 years of experience serving his community as a member of the NAACP. He served on the Milwaukee Public School Board from February 7, 2015-2029. He currently serves on the NAACP National Board of Directors and President of the Wisconsin Conference of Branches NAACP. Min. Harris is the founder of the National Coalition of Black American Men, Inc. and has collaborated and networked with Union Members, Milwaukee Public Schools, Public Charter Schools, and Private Choice Schools. He currently serves as Chair of the Membership Committee of Friendship Inc., a community-based organization that provides a drug-free environment for people throughout Milwaukee County.
