Andy Candela has a diverse work experience spanning over decades. Andy started their career as an Inventory Specialist at Sydney Krandall & Sons Jewellers in 1994. In 1997, they joined Nachi Robotic Systems, Inc. as an Account Manager and remained in this role until 2014. At Nachi Robotic Systems, Inc., they managed new robot sales and supported the company's largest customer as the Director Of Business Development from April 2016 to March 2021. During this time, they also oversaw marketing efforts and managed a team of Account Managers.
In 2014, Andy joined Sumitomo Wiring Systems (U.S.A.) Inc. as a Lead Wire Account Representative, where they maintained customer relationships, prepared quotations, and ensured a smooth flow of parts and information to customers. In 2015, they became the Assistant Supervisor Lead Wire Sales, where they managed communication between the plant, engineering, and production departments and maintained high levels of customer service.
Returning to Nachi Robotic Systems, Inc. in 2019, Andy served as the Vice President of Sales & Operations, responsible for planning and directing the company's management activities. Finally, in March 2021, they were promoted to the position of Executive Vice President, overseeing all aspects of day-to-day operations and supporting the organization at all levels.
Andy Candela attended Macomb Community College from 1985 to 1987, where they obtained an Associates degree in Business. Andy then went on to study at the Detroit College of Business from 1994 to 1997, earning a Bachelors degree in Business.
