Abdur-Rehman Irshad is a Senior Scientist and Synthetic & Materials Chemist at Nanoco Technologies Ltd since November 2013, specializing in the synthesis and manufacture of Cadmium Free Quantum Dots for various industries. Key achievements include the design and optimization of quantum dot synthesis processes and the successful scale-up of R&D protocols in a production environment. Previously, Abdur-Rehman served as a KTP Associate at The University of Salford, where a project focused on developing new quantum dot synthesis methods. Earlier experience includes working as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at The University of Manchester and as a Research Chemist at Syngenta. Abdur-Rehman holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry and a Master’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Manchester.
