Carl Pabo is the Founder and Research Director of Protean Futures LLC, established in 2007, where innovative strategies for addressing complex technical and social challenges are developed. Additionally, Carl Pabo serves as a Scientific Advisor at NanoDimension and previously held the roles of Founder and President at Humanity 2050, where focus was placed on tackling global issues such as climate change and artificial intelligence risks. Academic credentials include visiting professorships at institutions such as California Institute of Technology, Harvard Medical School, and Stanford University, as well as a tenure as Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Carl Pabo holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University and a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University.
