Wayne Cheng

Wayne Cheng is an experienced investor at Horizons Ventures, a firm recognized for backing innovative companies and technologies such as Facebook and Zoom since 2014. Cheng’s passion lies in revolutionary technologies with strong intellectual property that address significant market needs while enhancing quality of life. In addition to the role at Horizons Ventures, Cheng serves as a board member for several organizations, including Notpla, Atomo Coffee, Normative.io, Nanoleaf, AlgiKnit, erthos, and Varden Process, contributing to sustainable and transformative projects. Cheng previously held a strategy business development role at MPayMe (USA) LLC, which was acquired by Powa Technologies in 2014. Cheng holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems and Finance from HKUST Business School.
