Angel Alberto Vivas has a diverse range of work experience in the field operations and engineering sectors. Angel Alberto began their career with an internship at PDVSA Petroleos de Venezuela S.A., where they provided support to the reservoir and production engineering teams. Angel Alberto then transitioned to a role as a Production Accounting/Allocation Manager, where they were responsible for managing and overseeing the monthly calculation of production volumes and balancing. Angel Alberto also implemented automated databases and reports, resulting in time and cost savings.
Angel then moved on to a position as a Production Engineer, where they focused on optimizing production performance and managing offshore workovers and rig activities. Angel Alberto developed engineering designs for chemical cleaning as a Field Engineer at FourQuest Energy. At Bison Solutions Ltd, they created industrial cleaning proposals and provided field execution support.
Most recently, Angel joined Nanometrics Inc as a Field Operations Coordinator, where they led the day-to-day planning, coordination, and management of operational activities. Angel Alberto also managed inventory controls across multiple warehouses and coordinated activities with operations teams from other business units to maximize resource utilization.
Throughout their career, Angel has consistently demonstrated a strong focus on safety, as well as the ability to effectively manage teams and resources to achieve production objectives.
Angel Alberto Vivas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad del Zulia, where they studied from 2003 to 2007. Angel Alberto then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Petroleum Engineering at the same institution, graduating in 2012. Their education focused on the field of Petroleum Engineering throughout their academic journey.
