Richard Rousselle, CPA, CA has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Richard started their career at Welch LLP as an Auditor/Accountant, gaining significant audit experience with large public sector entities. During this time, they also had the opportunity to design and implement an audit for a joint venture between several municipalities. In 2007, they joined Nortel Networks as an R&D Control Prime, responsible for coordinating and supporting R&D planning cycles and reconciling expenditures. In 2010, they joined Ciena as a Senior Financial Analyst before moving on to Nanometrics Seismic Monitoring Solutions in 2012. At Nanometrics, they initially worked as a Senior Controller before being promoted to Director of Finance in May 2018. With their expertise in finance and accounting, Richard has contributed to the success of various organizations throughout their career.
Richard Rousselle, CPA, CA attended the University of Ottawa from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting. As for additional certifications, they completed the Lean Management Systems Program offered by Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium in 2014. Richard is also a Chartered Accountant, a designation awarded by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario), although the specific year of obtaining this certification is not provided.
