Michael Niemeyer

Michael Niemeyer is a scientist at Nanosys, where employment began in November 2010, focusing on the development and formulation of novel quantum dot synthetic methods and products tailored to customer needs. Prior roles at Nanosys included Associate Scientist, Research Associate, and Production Chemist, where responsibilities spanned from R&D of cadmium-free quantum dots to managing production processes and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Before joining Nanosys, Michael interned at San Diego State University in an X-ray crystallography and protein purification lab, and held various positions in hospitality and warehouse management. Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from San Diego State University in 2010, with prior educational experience at West Valley Community College and Prospect/West Valley Middle College.
