Roshan Vijay

Roshan Vijay is a Research Engineer and Lead for AV Simulation at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, specializing in autonomous vehicle testing under a project with the Land Transport Authority, focusing on metrics to evaluate AV performance in Singapore's urban environment. Previously, as a Research Engineer, Roshan developed a custom raycasting simulation framework for autonomous vehicle deployments, co-authoring work presented at IEEE ITSC 2021. Earlier experience includes a Project Officer role at the School of Civil & Environmental Engineering, focusing on smart crane technology and IoT systems, and as a Software Design Engineer at Geoscience Consulting Pvt Ltd, working on LiDAR SLAM for indoor mapping. Roshan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
