Alex Desharnais serves as the Chief Engineer for Enterprise and Information Systems Engineering and Manager of the Computer-Aided Engineering Software Environment at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since August 2019, overseeing software applications and mission operations support. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Director at Arsonal and BLT & Associates, managing large-scale technical projects and software development teams. Alex's career also encompasses technical leadership positions in various companies, focusing on web-based application development and complex project management. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
