Arash Kalantari has extensive work experience in robotics and mechanical engineering. Arash began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at ResQuake Robotics in 2003 and remained in this role until 2009. Arash then worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Booria CAD/CAM Systems from 2008 to 2009. In 2011, they became a Research Assistant at The Robotics Lab at Illinois Institute of Technology until 2015. Following this, they joined DAQRI as a Robotics Engineer from 2015 to 2017. Currently, Arash is the Group Lead and Robotics Mechanical Engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a position they have held since 2017.
Arash Kalantari obtained their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2005. Arash then pursued a Master's degree in Mechatronics from the same university, which they completed in 2008. Following this, they attended the Illinois Institute of Technology where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics in 2015.
