Jackie Mackel is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in media production and management, currently serving as the Section Manager for Communication Services at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory since February 2017. In this role, Jackie oversees JPL's Media Lab, including video production, print services, and public services. Prior to this, Jackie held various leadership positions at Fox from June 1995 to May 2016, including Director of Post Production, where responsibilities encompassed staffing and scheduling for a large team in production and promotions. Jackie also served as a Communication Specialist at HRS/Towers Perrin and began a career in media as an Associate Producer at MTV Networks / Logo. Jackie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Media Studies from UCLA.
