Natalie Sims has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Lead Human-Centered Designer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Prior to this, they held positions at Public Policy Lab, where they served as the Head of Design, Design Director, and Design Fellow. Natalie also co-founded and worked as a Designer at IntraCollaborative. Natalie was the Creative Director at Imprint Projects and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Pratt Institute. Natalie was involved with brand strategy and design at Sub Rosa as the Design Director and Art Director. Additionally, Natalie worked as a Visiting Lecturer at Princeton University and held Design Fellow roles at Public Policy Lab and the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP). At CUP, they contributed to a project focused on designing bilingual Rent Regulation Rights posters to inform tenants about their rights and provide guidance on challenging landlord harassment and organizing collectively.

Natalie Sims completed their BA in Communications, Art History, and Printmaking at UC Santa Barbara in 2008. Natalie then went on to earn an MFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute, which they completed in 2012.
