Espen Evensen is an experienced professional in the sports marketing and event management field, currently serving as the Event Marketing Manager for NASCAR in the Midwest Region since May 2023. Prior to this role, Espen worked at Ball State University Athletics as the Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Engagement from September 2022 to April 2023, and gained valuable experience as a Marketing & Fan Experience Intern at Kansas Athletics in late 2021. Earlier roles include an Operations Intern at the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour and a Pro Shop Attendant at Reston National Golf Course. Espen also served as a Student Athlete Services Associate at Old Dominion University. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from The University of Kansas, complemented by previous studies in Sports Management at Old Dominion University.
