Steve Beres has extensive work experience in the fields of security and law enforcement. Steve began their career in 1995 as a Police Sergeant at the Daytona Beach Police Department and worked their way up to Deputy Chief of Police. In 2012, they joined Daytona International Speedway as the Sr. Manager of Security, later being promoted to Sr. Director of Security. Since 2020, they have been working at NASCAR, initially as the Senior Director of Security and currently as the Managing Director of Racing Operations.
Steve Beres received a Masters degree in Criminal Justice from Keiser University in 2008-2009. In 1999-2000, they obtained a BA in Organizational Management from Warner Southern. Additionally, they completed the 106th Administrative Officers Course in Law Enforcement Administration at the Southern Police Institute in 2001.
