Robert L. Lavallee is an experienced professional currently serving as the Communications Security Manager and Work Control Coordinator for Nasittuq Corporation since April 2023. In addition, Robert has been working as a Dedicated Technician On Site for Canadian Network Installations Ltd. since October 2022, providing support to the Department of National Defense at 22 Wing – Canadian Forces Base North Bay. Nasittuq Corporation provides in-service support and facility operations and maintenance for the North Warning System. We also have a contract to provide site support and management services for the Ellesmere Island Commercial Support Contract in Alert, Nunavut. Nasittuq's mission is to provide exemplary technical and management services to our Canadian Government customers, while increasing opportunities for Inuit participation as trainees, employees, suppliers and owners. Nasittuq Corporation is a partnership between ATCO Frontec Ltd. and Pan Arctic Inuit Logistics Corporation (PAIL). PAIL is an organization wholly owned by seven shareholder corporations representing Canada’s Inuit community. These organizations Include: Inuvialuit Development Corporation (IDC); Nunasi Corporation; Makivik Corporation; the Nunatsiavut Group of Companies (NGC); Qikiqtaaluk Corporation; Sakku Investments Corporation, and Kitikmeot Corporation. PAIL’s first initiative was to pursue the award of the North Warning System operations and maintenance contract through a Joint Venture with ATCO Frontec.
