Jan Freeke

Jan Freeke is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in global taxation and management. Currently serving as Group Tax Director at Prosus Group since September 2019, Jan has overseen tax strategies for one of the largest technology investors globally following Prosus's listing on Euronext Amsterdam. Concurrently, Jan holds the position of Group Tax Director at Naspers since October 2013. Previous roles include Global Tax Director at Irdeto, Tax Manager at Cisco Systems, and Tax Manager at KPMG Meijburg & Co. Additionally, Jan began a career in consulting at PwC. Jan Freeke holds a degree in Dutch tax law from the University of Amsterdam, having completed earlier education at Sint Stanislas College.
