Anita Chism is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in managing cooperative projects and policies. Currently serving as the Director of Cooperative PMO at NASPO ValuePoint since January 2025, previous roles include Cooperative Project Manager and Deputy Director of Administrative Services at the National Association of State Procurement Officials. Anita has a strong background in procurement policy development, having worked as Team Lead for Training and Policy Development at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, where strategic guidance was provided to government stakeholders. Additional experience includes managing veterans' education benefits at The University of Texas at Arlington and the Texas Veterans Commission, alongside military service in the US Army Reserves during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Anita holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from The University of Texas at Arlington.
