Marisa Plotkin

Marisa Plotkin is an experienced professional in social services and strategic planning, currently serving as the Director of Special Projects at Nassau Health Care Corporation since June 2019. Previously, Marisa held various leadership roles at Samuel Field Y, including Director of Strategic Planning & Initiatives, where responsibilities included preparing presentations for philanthropic organizations to secure funding and overseeing community support programs. Marisa also coordinated programs and social services, notably connecting families affected by economic challenges through the Connect-to-Care initiative, and developed social and recreational programs for adults with disabilities. Marisa holds a Master's of Social Work with a concentration in Groupwork from Wurzweiler School of Social Work and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Long Island University, along with a SIFI Certificate in Field Instruction from Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
