Principal Software Engineer at Nasuni

Ed Judge has over 30 years of experience in software engineering. Ed started their career at CNR as a Staff Engineer in 1991 and then worked as a Software Engineer at Wellfleet/Bay Networks from 1993 to 1997. Ed then joined Prominet Communications as a Software Engineer for a brief period before moving to Lucent in 1997. At Lucent, they continued their role as a Software Engineer until 2000. From 2000 to 2004, Ed worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Nauticus Networks. Following that, they joined Sun Microsystems as a Principal Software Engineer from 2004 to 2006.

From 2006 to 2010, Ed served as a Principal Software Engineer Technical Lead at Bigband Networks. During their time there, they led a team responsible for designing and implementing platform inventory and provisioning software. In 2010, Ed joined Netezza/IBM as a Principal Software Engineer, where they worked on the geospatial plugin and improved the performance of the Mantra product's event subsystem. Ed worked for Netezza/IBM until 2014.

After that, Ed served as a Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead at Cazena from 2014 to 2018. In this role, they led the Data Mover team and designed and implemented cloud storage solutions. Currently, Ed is working at Nasuni as a Principal Software Engineer, where they have been since 2018. Ed'sresponsibilities at Nasuni include adding control path/UI features and improving memory footprint.

Ed Judge obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tufts University between 1987 and 1991. In addition, Ed has obtained certifications in Learning Python Generators, Learning Python with PyCharm, and Advanced Python from LinkedIn in 2020 and 2021.
