Tanner Hagelstrom

Tanner Hagelstrom, PhD, MBA, FACMG, serves as the Senior Director of Oncology at Natera since February 2021 and is the CEO and Founder of Xpecting Diagnostics, Inc., which specializes in time-to-labor testing for women. Prior to these roles, Tanner worked as the Laboratory Director at Illumina, focusing on whole genome sequencing and ensuring regulatory compliance, along with responsibilities as a Medical Molecular Geneticist. Academic experience includes positions at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Colorado Genetics Lab, alongside a post-doctoral fellowship at TGen. Tanner holds multiple degrees from Colorado State University, including a PhD in cellular and molecular biology and an MBA, along with additional qualifications in anatomy and biomedical sciences, and a BS in Biology and Chemistry.
