Michael Sothen has over 20 years of experience in finance and operations. Michael currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Nation Safe Drivers, where they manage financial reporting, accounting systems, HR, and customer service. In their previous role as Senior Director of Finance and Operations at Brown & Brown Insurance, they oversaw regional and divisional operations. Michael has also held positions at AMSI, Inc. as the Director of Tax and Accounting, at Brown & Brown Insurance as the National Programs Division CFO, at The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County as the CFO, and at Nowlen, Holt & Miner, P.A. as an Audit and Tax Manager. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated expertise in financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning.
Michael Sothen obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Palm Beach Atlantic University, which they completed from 1990 to 1994. Michael then pursued a Master's Degree in Masters of Accountancy at Florida Atlantic University from 1995 to 1997.
