Joseph Cameron

Joseph Cameron, Ed.D., serves as the Inaugural Dean of the School of Health Professions at the University of Providence since January 2023. In addition to this role, Joseph is a Professor of Educational Leadership and Dissertation Committee Chair at National American University, where work began in January 2021. Previous positions include Executive Cabinet Member and Inaugural Dean of Health Sciences at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and Dean of Health Sciences at Tarrant County College, where oversight was provided for various health science programs and faculty. Additionally, Joseph held the role of Executive Director of Virtual Online Distance Learning and Curriculum Development at Belhaven University. Earlier career experiences include positions at Hinds Community College and Jackson State University, emphasizing leadership in health sciences and research initiatives. Joseph earned a Doctor of Education in Executive Leadership in Higher Education from National American University and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Jackson State University.
