Greg Young is an experienced forensic pathologist and academic with a robust background in both medical practice and education. Currently serving as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer and Adjunct Lecturer at Monash University since August 2016, Greg also holds roles at the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia as the Assistant Chief Examiner in Forensic Pathology and as a Forensic Advisory Committee Member. Since 2019, Greg has been a Technical Assessor with the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia. With extensive experience at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, Greg has been a Forensic Pathologist and Supervisor since February 2013, following earlier positions as an Anatomical Pathology Registrar at Southern Health and Dorevitch Pathology. Greg has a strong academic foundation, including ongoing studies for a Master's degree in Health and Medical Law at the University of Melbourne, alongside multiple qualifications in disaster response and forensic pathology from esteemed institutions.
