Kim Pause Tucker, Ph.D., currently serves as the Senior Director of Strategic Operations for Audubon Florida at the National Audubon Society since November 2024. Previously, Kim held the role of Executive Director at Gunpowder Valley Conservancy from August 2022 to October 2024. At Florida Gulf Coast University, Kim operated as the Director of the Whitaker Center for STEM Education and Professor of Biological Sciences from August 2021 to July 2022. A significant tenure at Stevenson University spanned from 2012 to 2021, where Kim was the Founding Director of the Center for Environmental Stewardship and also led multiple programs related to STEM education. Earlier academic roles included positions at the College of Coastal Georgia, University of South Florida, University of Tampa, and University of Florida, with a focus on biological sciences and genetics. Kim earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Florida and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida State University.
