Hadji Tchouar's work experience begins in 2017 with Manulife, where they worked as an Application Developer, supporting Java applications and documenting software configuration. In the same year, they also developed an email notification app using Java, Spring, and Apache Velocity, as well as modified Crystal Reports for rebranding purposes.
In 2018, Hadji continued working at Manulife as an Application Developer. Hadji analyzed the impacts of a database and Java version upgrade on existing Java applications and implemented the necessary changes to support the impacted applications. Moving on to Intact in 2020, Hadji served as a Software Developer II. Hadji primarily focused on developing Java Spring web applications and services. Additionally, they designed and developed an encryption API used by multiple systems, utilizing Quarkus and Vert.x reactive programming.
Most recently, in 2022, Hadji joined the National Bank of Canada as a Principal Full Stack Developer. Their current responsibilities include developing APIs using Spring Boot, Kafka streams, and MongoDB to handle high throughput of data. Hadji has also been involved in the building of serverless APIs using Node.js and AWS Lambda for an AWS cloud migration initiative.
Hadji Tchouar completed a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering at École de technologie supérieure from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2015, they earned a College Diploma in Health Sciences from Collège Montmorency.
