Ayman El-Shimi is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in corporate banking and risk management. Currently serving as Group Head and Head of Large Corporate at the National Bank of Egypt since December 2017, Ayman previously held leadership positions at both Arab Bank and National Bank of Egypt. Ayman's career spans over two decades, having worked at Ahli United Bank Egypt as a Senior Manager in the Risk Department and at Credit Agricole Bank Egypt as Vice President in the Risk Department. Ayman holds an MBA in Finance from the Arab Academy Graduate School of Business and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Educational background also includes a Baccalaureate of Commerce in Accounting from Cairo University.
