Jessica Mendieta is an experienced policy professional currently serving as a Policy Associate at the National Council of Nonprofits since September 2021. With a background that includes a fellowship at the Federal City Council and an internship with the Office of the Mayor of New York City, Jessica has developed expertise in public policy, economic development, and nonprofit advocacy. Previous roles include a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, a Program Associate at the NYC Department of Education, and various internships in governmental and nonprofit sectors. Jessica holds a Master of Science in Public Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Public Policy from Hunter College.
