Manpreet Anand

Manpreet Anand serves as the Regional Director for Asia-Pacific at the National Democratic Institute since July 2019, overseeing programs that enhance legislative, political party, and civil society development, election processes, and promote political participation of women, youth, and ethnic minorities. Concurrently, Manpreet Anand operates as an Independent Consultant with JustImpact LLC, advising on global issues related to foreign policy and development assistance. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at Albright Stonebridge Group, Distinguished Professor of Practice at the National Defense University, Deputy Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of State, and Deputy Assistant Administrator at USAID, among others, showcasing extensive experience in international relations and strategic policy. Manpreet Anand holds an M.A. in International Studies and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
