Matthew Burke is an experienced Instructional Designer who has held various roles in political campaigns, focusing on field organizing and Get Out The Vote efforts. With a background in history and teaching licensure, Matthew has successfully managed and coached teams of organizers across multiple states to increase voter turnout and support Democratic candidates. Matthew has also been instrumental in developing volunteer infrastructures, training curriculum, and coalition-building efforts to achieve campaign goals.

The National Democratic Training Committee offers free, interactive online training for Democratic candidates running for office. It doesn't matter how big or small your race may be. We want to help. There is no litmus test. We do not take stances on issues or make endorsements. We aim to empower any Democrat who wants to be involved in local politics the tools needed to be successful. We believe by working with local candidates, we can accomplish three goals: improve the performance of every Democrat up and down the ticket, elect more Democrats to office, and create a deeper bench of qualified candidates for higher office.
