Joel Chaddock

Joel Chaddock is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Associate Director for Energy Efficiency & Manufacturing at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) since September 2001. Chaddock leads technical projects in support of the DOE Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Building Technologies Office, specializing in solid-state lighting technologies, including light-emitting diodes and organic light-emitting diodes. Prior to this role, Chaddock worked as a Chemical Engineer at Concurrent Technologies Corporation, providing technical support to NETL, and as an Environmental Engineer at Energetics, where contributions were made to the Environmental Waste Management Division. Chaddock holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University, earned in 1997.
