John Engelke has extensive experience in the technical and military fields, currently serving as Area Manager at IPS PowerServe since August 2019, following a role as Field Service Technician. In addition to this position, John has been a CBRN NCO in the US Army Reserves since March 2008. Prior to IPS PowerServe, John worked as a Field Service Technician at Dashiell Field Services from August 2017 to August 2019. John Engelke holds two Associate of Arts and Sciences degrees from Texas State Technical College, one in Instrumentation Technology/Technician and the other in Electrical/Electronics Drafting and Electrical/Electronics CAD/CADD, both completed between 2015 and 2017.

National Field Services opened for business in 1996, with a focus on providing regional customers with heavy onsite equipment testing, commissioning and startup services. We have since expanded into offering engineering, maintenance, disaster recovery, protection and control, NFPA 70E implementation, electrical asset management and electrical consulting services, in addition to safety and technical training. In that time we have also expanded our service region. From our three offices in Texas and two offices in Nevada, we serve much of the southern and western United States and have the ability to mobilize to any other region of the country as well.
