Rob Dawson has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, currently serving as Lead Field Engineer and Lead Field Technician at IPS PowerServe since December 2015. Previously, Rob held the position of Field Service Technician at Control Power Concepts from June 2021 to July 2024 and worked as a Power Study Engineer at SouthWest Electritech Services between December 2014 and July 2024. Rob holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from ITT Technical Institute-Las Vegas, completed in 2015.

National Field Services opened for business in 1996, with a focus on providing regional customers with heavy onsite equipment testing, commissioning and startup services. We have since expanded into offering engineering, maintenance, disaster recovery, protection and control, NFPA 70E implementation, electrical asset management and electrical consulting services, in addition to safety and technical training. In that time we have also expanded our service region. From our three offices in Texas and two offices in Nevada, we serve much of the southern and western United States and have the ability to mobilize to any other region of the country as well.
