Richard Lloyd serves as the Head of Land & Property at National Gas Transmission since February 2023, following a decade in various leadership roles at National Grid, including Head of Land & Property and Risk & Compliance Manager. Lloyd has significant expertise in risk and compliance management, energy, and sustainability, overseeing processes to support corporate objectives. Prior to National Grid, Lloyd was a Senior M&E Engineer at Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council, managing maintenance strategies for a large portfolio of public buildings, and began his career as an M&E Design Engineer in the NHS. Educationally, Lloyd holds a Master of Science in Management from Swansea Metropolitan University and an HNC in Building Services from Bridgend College.
