Agnes Tabah is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel at the National Geographic Society since December 2001. In this role, Agnes oversees advancement, public experiences, and anti-corruption compliance. Prior to joining National Geographic, Agnes worked as an Associate at Jones Day from January 1986 to November 1992. Agnes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Hispanic Language and Literature from Middlebury College, a Certificate in Museum Studies with a focus on Legal Issues in Museum Administration from The George Washington University, and a Juris Doctor degree from The George Washington University Law School.
