Joshua Atkins

Joshua Atkins is currently serving as the UK Head of Corporate Affairs (Ventures) at National Grid, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Joshua held various influential positions at the Energy Networks Association from June 2020 to December 2023, including Head of Communications and Head of Public Affairs. Experience also includes a directorship at FTI Consulting between January 2019 and June 2020, and several roles at Energy UK from July 2014 to January 2019, culminating as Policy Manager. Previous experience features positions as an Energy Markets Policy Adviser at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, a Political Adviser at Greenpeace, and a Parliamentary Intern in the House of Commons. Education includes a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Hull and A-Levels from Birkdale School.
