Matthew Phelan

Matthew Phelan is an experienced professional currently serving as the Director of Global Transformation at National Grid since 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew held various positions at EY-Parthenon from 2018 to 2022, including Director and Consultant in Strategy. Matthew's career also includes an investment banking associate position at Goldman Sachs in 2017 and participation in the Google Student Veterans Summit in the same year. Matthew served in the US Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer from 2009 to 2016. Educationally, Matthew earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from The Wharton School between 2016 and 2018 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) from the United States Naval Academy, completing this degree in 2009.
