Chris Butts

Chris Butts has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as an English Language Teacher at National Heritage Academies since January 2019. Additionally, Chris has been a Personal Coach at Calvin Danell Associates since August 2012, focusing on mentorship and self-awareness for diverse audiences in the greater Atlanta area. Previous roles include Leader Coach at Mount Paran Church, where Chris supported volunteers working with special needs children, and Special Education Teacher positions in both the DeKalb County School District and Mcnair Academic High School, emphasizing engagement strategies for student learning. Chris's background also includes experience as an Assistant Superintendent at Whiting Turner Construction and as an Athlete for Nike. Chris holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Shorter University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Detroit Mercy, along with prior studies in Criminal Justice and Corrections.
