Mark Jacobs

Mark Jacobs is an experienced IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance Analyst currently employed at National Heritage Academies since April 2020. In this role, Mark has focused on incident investigations, phishing email mitigation, identity and access management, and security concerns, leading projects such as a security awareness program and procedure creation. Prior to this, Mark gained valuable experience as a Cyber Security Contractor and Intern, where incident investigations and phishing mitigation were key responsibilities. Mark's earlier experience includes serving as a Cyber Security Assistant at Ferris State University, where analysis of alerts through LogRhythm SIEM was emphasized, along with roles as an Audio Visual Technician Assistant and University Center Set Up Staff. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance and a degree in Digital Forensics from Ferris State University.
