Jared Auclair is an experienced academic and researcher currently serving as the Interim Dean of the College of Professional Studies at Northeastern University, alongside various roles including Director of Bioinnovation and Vice Provost for Research Economic Development. Prior experience includes positions as Associate Teaching Professor in Chemistry and Chemical Biology, and Director of multiple training programs. Jared has extensive research experience utilizing biochemical and biophysical techniques to study neurodegenerative diseases, with past roles as a postdoctoral fellow at Brandeis University and a graduate student at UMass Medical School focusing on HIV-1 research. Additionally, Jared operates JM-2 Research Consulting LLC, offering expertise in scientific strategies related to biopharmaceuticals, and holds a Master of Arts in Divinity from the Theological Institute at Saint John's Seminary, as well as a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UMass Chan Medical School.

The National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training (NIBRT) is a global centre of excellence for training and research in bioprocessing. NIBRT is located in a new, world class facility in Dublin, Ireland. This facility is purpose built to closely replicate a modern bioprocessing plant with state of the art equipment. NIBRT is based on an innovative collaboration between University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University and the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
