John Cooper is a Research Aerospace Technologist at NASA Langley Research Center, specializing in guidance and control design for spacecraft and space robotic systems. Prior to this, John has had experience in dynamic modeling and control of aircraft systems, flight control, adaptive control research, 3D CAD design, and atmospheric studies at various institutions and companies such as National Institute of Aerospace, University of Connecticut, and Sikorsky Aircraft. John holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut.
