Mark Gillespie is a distinguished leader with extensive experience in the arts and business sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at Equity Arc and Co-Founder & CEO of OAcademy Music Conservatory, Mark also co-founded Sinfónica Azteca at Grupo Salinas. Since 2013, Mark has been the Founder & CEO of The Global Leaders Institute and has held the role of Chief Executive Officer at The Orchestra of the Americas Group since 2007. Additionally, Mark co-founded the Filarmónica Joven de Colombia and the NYOC Belize, contributing significantly to cultural initiatives. With a robust educational background, including multiple MBAs from McGill University and HEC Montréal, as well as master’s degrees from the University of Stavanger and Université Laval, Mark’s expertise bridges management and the arts. Mark has also provided consulting services to esteemed organizations such as the New York Philharmonic and AEG.
