Sheng Lin-Gibson is a seasoned professional in the field of polymer chemistry, currently serving as the Chief of the Biosystems and Biomaterials Division at NIST since October 2017. Prior to this role, Sheng held the position of Group Leader in the Biomaterials Group within NIST from August 2010 to October 2017. Sheng also served as a Research Chemist in the NIST Polymers Division from July 2001 to August 2010. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, as well as a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Chemistry, all from Virginia Tech.
